Electricity trips often, even 5 times a day

Location.

The towels were old and thin.

The pool, our room was clean and made up everyday and nothing seemed a problem for any department except the reception staff

It was located out of walking distance to town and the courtesy bus did not run that often and nothing in the morning. Reception staff were below average but the rest of the staff were great. Some of the timber work needed replacing due to dry rot

Very expensive because old furniture and room, but ok. Lower price and it would be fine.

Driving the Mae Hong Son loop my partner and I stayed here for 2 nights. On the whole we had a good stay here and as we had a car could drive to places to eat and tourist sites, however a few of cons to be aware of which if noted below:

Pool: - pool side is lovely, however only 5 sun beds so difficult to grab one if the hotel is busy - There is poolside toilet however the door is locked so you have to go up to your room for a wee - They serve drinks by the pool which you have to collect from the bar, we had a big bottle of Chang each which came to total of 360 Baht (180 each!) the same size bottle of Chang at the local night market was 65 Baht each Breakfast: - Breakfast was mainly Thai food which we didn’t have a problem with, what we didn’t like was the vast amount of flies on all the food, fruit and sauces meaning we were limited on what we could chose from. They serve breakfast outside so I simple solution would be to serve it inside (or just go for breakfast as early as poss to get it fresh without many flies!) Room: - we had a lovely room which was a bit dated but that didn’t bother us, I did however notice shower mold in the bath room and on the shower curtain which wasn’t the nicest, the bathroom sink also had no plug hole so you could see right down the drain as you brush your teeth - not the end of the world but for the price you’d rather having a nice clean bathroom. For a night or 2 this place is fine providing you have some transport to get you to nearby tourist sites and restaurants. There is a restaurant at the hotel, however after our breakfast experience we didn’t go there, it always seemed so quiet there (likely due to the highly priced food). We drove to a local restaurant called Salween River Restaurant (serve both Thai and western food) which we would highly recommend! Food was amazing and staff were so friendly

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a car but if you need to go into city center near lake you may lose your parking space. They do not have enough parking therefore people park and block other cars. The room was nice and we had a balcony which was cool. Breakfast was ok asian food again mainly. Staff were nice and answered our questions

Have more variety at breakfast for westerners please

The staff was very friendly and alert

Impossible to regulate temperature in showet without getting burnt. Breakfast first Day the Breda was old and stale. The beef in one of the dishes was so hard it was not worthwhile chewing it. Chicken and pig dishes were ok, fish dish was dry but eatable.

Had old hotel charm in a convenient location. The waiting staff were courteous and English was understood. Very handy for visiting the town.

Very expensive in comparison to similar hotels. Pool not cleaned regularly. Towels grey and thin. No help with luggage and all steps, no ramps. Laundry was outrageously expensive. Western-style food poor- avoid the salmon and Smash potato!

Messy checkin they could not find my reservation neither did they recognize my Bankkok bank Visa card as a Thai card and asked me to enter a code.The internet speed was poor and the TV was probably 20 years old

The property is gorgeous! The on-site restaurant and bar is great. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Very relaxing stay.

It is a little far from the city center. But the grounds are very peaceful.

Room is large, with small balcony, breakfast was good. Staff friendly .

Hotel is showing age although the room was renovated. Location out of town, no restaurants in surrounding.

Little bit retro but in low season OK since the place was almost empty and we could enjoy all by ourself. The corridors might remind you a bit on Stephen King's "The Shining" lol. The pool and garden is very well taken care of, maybe the cleanest water I have seen so far in Thailand in the pool without any smell of chlorine.

The hot and cold water tab in the bathroom is a disaster. After 5 minutes trying up and down you will actually manage to get the water temperature right and then take a shower quickly before you get either burned by boiling water or you scream due to a sudden unexpected cold water swell! We only met Chinese in the resort, so I assume in the high season it will be occupied mostly by Chinese clients.

Nice and quiet location outside of town. Though our room was on the road side we did not notice traffic that much

Swimming pool was not particularly clean, water looked mirky. Fitness devices had all broken down, very poor sight.

Booked this hotel for its close location to town centre, problem was that's it's not located at website location & it's a taxi ride into the town centre. Location shown on website is an empty hotel possibly once owned by same company or called same name, website update required. Hotol needs a little tlc.

Unfriendly service, received the room maximal close to the road but at least we have been able to move to an other room..... definitely not worth the money - breakfast was good

I was enjoyed by stay at the room of forest view, enough wide and comfortable by old-timer interior.

Suggestion to whom is booking; never chose the room facing to rood,; noisy by trafic and poor view.
